The studio will be heated up to 90+ degrees to help you sweat and allow your circulation to move freely aiding in lymphatic flow - a body system that helps move fluid, rid toxins, and other cellular wastes. Explore your own unique connection to the natural world around you and discover the healing power of yoga and meditation. We will begin our evening venturing into the forest for about a mile or so hike then meet back for our chill yoga stretch practice. This style of yoga will bring calmness and balance for you your mind + body + soul. Ending our evening with a relaxing sunset meditation and savasana with a cool refreshing aroma infused spa towel. Take this time to relax and reconnect with nature as it will give you the opportunity to heal, slow down and re-focus. Whether your goal is to build muscle mass or achieve a fitter, more toned body, lifting weights can help get you there. Weight training aka resistance or strength training, builds lean, stronger muscles, strengthens bones and joints and can help keep your metabolism in a healthy state -- meaning you'll burn more calories even when you're resting. Utilizing hand weights, TRX suspension trainers, resistance bands, and even your own body weight called calisthenics exercises. Benefits of this type of exercise is for all ages young and older, as it can help fight the loss of muscle mass and mobility as well as improve psychological well-being. Healthy Body + Mind! Sound Bath is the practice of healing bodies through sound waves and is thousands of years old with deep roots in cultures across the world. This “spiritual, cleansing music" varies according to place and culture, but it can be as simple as chanting an "om" following your yoga session or as complex as an hour-long experience in a space with a sound practitioner. While in a comfortable restful and restorative state lying down (Shavasana), this unique meditative experience will “bathe” you in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, along with the practitioners voice. The music doesn’t have a catchy melody or rhythm like you’d experience at a concert or symphony, but instead is a carefully selected wash of instrument and voice with notable resonance and overtones. Along with guided imagery, the sound healing practitioner’s intention is to help balance the chakra energy in the body creating deeply peaceful and self-meditative experience. 90 min Stress Relief Restore Yoga (Monthly Offering) - class is a gentle and relaxed yoga practice that will leave you feeling refreshed and restored. Find your ground and return to your true self. Guys and Gals - all levels welcome including beginners.
Your body will benefit from gentle yoga movements, and your mind will feel at ease from the peaceful stillness. Class will incorporate a sequence of slow flow yoga, mindful stretching, guided breathwork and meditation to practice being present. Pairing with longer held yin yoga postures to allow deep stretching and closing class with supported restorative yoga postures. This class can help reset the nervous system, encourage calmness, reduce stress, and bring your body and mind into balance as you enter a state of deep restful peace. Restorative Yoga practice involves holding yoga postures for longer periods of time while being completely supported by props so you can release all muscular effort and relax. This is the ultimate stress relief experience. While in poses you remain awake and aware of your breath and sensation within the body. Through the experience of stillness within the pose, you experience shifts in your emotional and mental well being. You will leave feeling relaxed and peaceful. This family friendly power class outside that mixes cardio, traditional calisthenic, body weight exercises, interval and strength training with a healthy dose of motivation. Get ready to sweat as your drill sergeant coaches Neda + Kelly run you through a fun "Competition Style" challenge course where you will be in teams of 4 people. You'll need a team name/captain and your group will wear the same color. Don't have a team - no problem. Sign up as an individual and be placed with a great team! As we kick your booties, your team will be competing with other teams to kick each other's booties. To make the stakes higher, besides bragging rights, the winning team gets a trophy (group photo) and each person in the team earns a EFB Swag Gift with a $20 TW Gift Card!!! Follow your sweat session with some suds - Quench your workout thirst with a pint of your choice (included).
