I began practicing yoga in 2002 as an answer to stress relief and a balance to running. Through various transitions and challenges in my life I have found yoga to ground, balance, and provide a nurturing community allowing me to grow and thrive even during moments of adversity. I love to share yoga and all the benefits one can reap from incorporating the principles of yoga into their everyday life. My career as a nurse and public health professional come through in my teaching to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to practice and improve their health and wellness.
